He/she will receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in industrial establishments. Must have a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record.
Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains a record of tools and equipment issued and returned.
Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.
He/she may be required to deliver tools or equipment to workers or different job sites.
Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
General housekeeping and maintenance of the tool room and its surrounding area is required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
