JOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE CLERK

JOB PURPOSE:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Clerk is required to be self-motivated, detailed, and organized.  He/she is expected to have knowledge in the basic operation of QA systems and procedures, including the use of computers and office equipment to accomplish tasks.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Test and Inspection Plan; insure all required documents & inspections are completed by all departments & sub-contractors

  • Generate and maintain CFR and checkpoint logs

  • Submit CFR(s) to customer & appropriate personnel

  • Coordinate scheduling of checkpoints with production, sub-contractor & customer

  • Distribute CFR response(s) to appropriate personnel

  • Maintain QA files (CFRs, Checkpoints, procedures, logs, etc.)

  • Review draft CFR(s)/report(s) for completeness & content

  • Maintain log of calibrated equipment, schedule and send out equipment for re-calibration.

  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

MINIMUM EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  

 

COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of 35 words per minute is essential to the job

  • Individuals must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  

 

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Required to have at least two years of relevant work experience.
